Description
These pieces are part of a selected series of limited edition prints from “Seventy Second and Zero”, an ongoing body of work by Riaño, exploring memory, permanence, and observation within the páramo landscape of La Cumbrera, in the Eastern Mountains surrounding Bogotá.
Each image is produced in a maximum edition of three, independent of size variation. The works move between scanning, photography, material intervention, and archival processes, functioning as fragments of time and perception connected to the atmosphere, textures, and silence of the páramo. Some pieces contain up to twenty layered images, building surfaces that blur documentation, memory, and transformation.
Throughout the series, La Cumbrera appears not as a site of documentation, but as a living surface shaped by erosion, permanence, and the passage of time.
It is printed using Hahnemühle German Etching with museum-grade printing acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a felt-marked texture and a velvety matte surface. A dedicated team is involved in every step of the process, and it’s delivered in a collectible, secure packaging system, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
